Our preferred approach is to improve your health and your nutritional status through food, i.e., by changing your diet and increasing or decreasing certain foods. However, even when we do eat well, our food is likely to be deficient in the vitamins and minerals we need to keep our bodies healthy and well-balanced then it might be useful to support dietary changes with specific vitamins, minerals or other biological agents. If there are indications that you are low in any of these we may discuss some appropriate nutritional supplements with you at your consultation.
